Who will survive????
Production notes:
One day while I was playing with my dog Pepper I had the fun idea of using my dinosaur puppets to play fight with him. Pepper absolutely loved this, and he got really into it. It was quite an amusing sight, one that I realized might be good enough for a video, so I decided to record a few shots of our battles to compile into a versus video akin to Dino Duels. At the end of the video I even joked that Pepper would be added to the Dino Duels roster, but of course I quickly clarified I was only kidding. Despite this, I have gotten numerous fight requests such as "dog vs Spinosaurus", which I guess speaks volumes about the human race's attention span.

In this prequel to The Crocodile of Lornwood Lake (2017), we learn of the crocodile's origins as well as its first monstrous rival...
Production notes:
Lornwood Origins began with my annual trip to Finland, during which I stayed with my half-uncle Lucas who is also younger than me. I brought along my crocodile puppet, which I pretty much chose randomly, with the vague plan of maybe making a movie during my two week stay. Early on I decided the film would somehow be connected to The Crocodile of Lornwood Lake (2017), and so I began writing the story for a prequel film. This time I wrote the story in storyboard form rather than script form, because I figured this film would have a heavier focus on visuals and mood than dialogue. Literally everything except the editing was made within a two-week period—even the spider prop was bought during this time. We didn't even know what the opponent of the crocodile would be until we walked into the store. After the script was completed, we filmed the movie out of order, working on it a little bit almost every day. I did try editing it a bit on my laptop, but that proved tedious and frustrating because a project of this scope required something a little more powerful. The whole family got involved, and even one of the dogs got a part. Special effects-wise, this film experimented with a couple new techniques, such as the method used to make the spider walk (fishing line hooked up to a stick), and real firecrackers for the scene where the car explodes. The end result is an interesting, fun little movie that I would call a success.

Will Chuck get an A?
Production notes:
One of three comedy shorts filmed prior to the production of Dinosaur Attack 4: Chicken Attack (2017). These shorts were created as a proof of concept for a potential series starring the titular chicken. In this episode, Chuck has a hard time with homework (by the way, that really was one of my college textbooks), and ends up breaking the table by the end. Certain aspects of this video, such as the glass shatter effects and internal monologue, weren't originally planned but were added to enhance the short. You can see my hand showing in some parts.

Production notes:
One of three comedy shorts filmed prior to the production of Dinosaur Attack 4: Chicken Attack (2017). These shorts were created as a proof of concept for a potential series starring the titular chicken. In this episode, Chuck has his own cooking show and demonstrates with elegant finesse the proper way to peel a banana. Of the first three Chuck McClucks, this one was most heavily modified from its original form (that's right, there were earlier edits, which were never uploaded) with the addition of several new clips, as well as a couple other enhancements like lighting adjustment and improved effects. Chuck's antics during the credits were also an added feature in all three.

Is Chuck up for the challenge?
Production notes:
One of three comedy shorts filmed prior to the production of Dinosaur Attack 4: Chicken Attack (2017). These shorts were created as a proof of concept for a potential series starring the titular chicken. In this episode, Chuck is in for a big surprise when feeding the dogs—to his horror, the dogs crave CHICKEN MEAT... I personally find this one pretty funny. Changes from the original edit include new music, a more hilarious scream, and a much faster paced series of cuts between Chuck and Ginger. The credits antics were a bit of a challenge to film, because getting Ginger to walk across a green screen background is tougher than it sounds.
