Description

Spinosaurus is a truly massive carnivore, surpassing even the size of the famous T-Rex. Spinosaurus is amphibious, which allows it to ambush prey from the water, sometimes traveling through bays and up rivers in search of food. Its crocodile-like jaws are ideal for snapping up prey items, and hanging on with the aid of huge teeth. Its arms are weaponized too, unusually large for a theropod and tipped with sharp, hook-like claws.

The Spinosaurus is seen in two main No Budget Films continuities—the Top Predators series, and the Dino Duels series. The former features the Spino as the largest and fiercest of a secret bioweapon organization's experiments, while the latter pits the dinosaur's great size and power against a host of other fearsome foes.

Trivia

  • The puppet's neck is too tight for me to fit my hand in. Whenever I puppeteer this guy, I need to get my hand wet first.

  • The new discovery about Spinosaurus' four-legged stance has been somewhat incorporated into No Budget Films—in Dino Duels ep. 5, for instance, the Spinosaurus can be seen resting on its forelimbs while eating.
