Shotaro's life started out pretty low key and average, but it was at the dawn of his teenage years that things got really strange. While most boys his age only have puberty to worry about, Shotaro also had something nearly as bad: A killer skeleton, and a living dummy, both intent on taking his life. He triumphed in battle over the skeleton, but the dummy proved too much for him and he fainted, leaving the fight up to his best friend Tim. It was then that Shotaro realized that Tim was the true target, and thus it was at that point that he bowed out of the action. For years, Shotaro lived his life free of supernatural threats, until the year of 2018 when he was forced to once again confront the terror from his past—the Shrunken Skeleton.
