Mothman is an enigmatic cryptid creature, appearing in the darkness of night and soaring through the air at surprising speeds. The features of the Mothman are largely unknown, but every sighting agrees that it has glowing red eyes. These red eyes have been known to put the creature's victims in a trance-like state. Mothman's motives and origins are also a mystery. Some say it's an alien, while others think it's some sort of mutant bird. Some people think that Mothman comes as a warning of imminent disaster, like in Ohio 1967, when a Mothman appearance was shortly followed by the collapse of the Silver Bridge.

While Mothman was allegedly last seen in 1967 in the real world, the No Budget Films cinematic universe brings the creature back for one more terrifying outing in 1969. A man named Jake sees the Mothman lurking around his house at night, and soon enough, disaster follows.
