Description

A massive, genetically engineered monster mutant. The giant spider is a fearsome fighter, using its long legs to jab at its enemies or to trap them in a powerful death grip. The creature is surprisingly lightweight for its size, and often makes astounding leaps during combat. It is a nocturnal hunter as well as a diurnal one, with only its glowing red eyes serving as a warning sign in most cases. The spider's bite is deadly and highly venomous.

Created to hunt down and subdue the Crocodile of Lornwood Lake, another genetically engineered monstrosity, the spider fulfills its duty by battling and pursuing the wayward croc until it's finally able to defeat it via a bite to the throat. The spider meets its doom shortly after when it is burned alive by a boy named Lucas.

A similar giant spider was also created by a top secret bioweapon organization in the Top Predators timeline. It is seen only briefly, attacking a city under orders from the Giant Brain.
