Elina is the harsh and distrusting mother of Lucas. After years of putting up with his antics and misadventures, who can blame her for being a little burnt out? She believes it's up to her to ensure that Lucas stays on the correct path, and isn't afraid to take drastic measures to do so (such as throwing him out the door to get him to school). Elina is the polar opposite of her husband, Trac, who believes in his son's self-efficacy and allows him a bit more freedom. The two of them have very different parenting styles, with Elina's being built on discipline and obedience. She has no time for Lucas' "spider fantasies". She has been shown, however, to have a softer side in certain situations.

In a different timeline, Elina drives an Uber for a living and appears in Nathan's vlog prior to his encounters with the Snowgre and Demon Witch. She tries to warn him of these dangers, but her concerns are unwisely shrugged off as mere legends.
